Planning to visit the Ikenobo headquarters in Kyoto next month. Has anyone been recently? Any tips?

Absolutely worth it. The museum on the second floor has arrangements dating back to the 1500s.

Go on a weekday morning — much quieter and the staff have time to explain things.
