First time making kimchi — how much gochugaru?

Every recipe says something different. Some say 1/2 cup per napa cabbage, others say a full cup. What's your ratio?

I do about 3/4 cup per large napa cabbage. Adjust based on how spicy your gochugaru is.

Depends on the brand! Korean Sun brand is milder, you can use more. Taekyung is hotter.

Start with less, taste after day 3, and add more on your next batch. That's how you find your ratio.
