Just ink, no color. Sometimes the repetition of the gates is enough. Platinum Carbon ink on Stillman & Birn Alpha.

The repetition creates such a meditative quality. Ink only was the right choice.

Platinum Carbon is bulletproof. I've switched to it for all my outdoor sketching.
